Put our Knowledge to Work

– Fish are less likely to see you if you stay low. Stay stealthy.

– There are “colors” and “materials” that fish do not see well. …and there are those they see very well!

– Avoid predatory colors.

– Avoid casting shadows over water, avoid “lining” trout with solid fly line.

– Blend in with your background with muted and natural colors, especially above the waist.

– Bonus: avoid making heavy vibrations in the fishing hole. Trout may not hear you talking, but they can sense/hear you scraping rocks or making your way into the water.
